Lynn M. VanNorman, B.S. Program Supervisor |
|
The Stepping Stone Day Activity Program is a program offered Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. through 3:15 p.m. for people who have a developmental disability, twenty-six years of age, Lapeer County residents and needing services to acquire daily living skills. The program offers a continuum of services with our Senior's part-time program, classrooms providing services for people needing intensive physical therapy, behavioral intervention, and sensory integration therapy. We offer skill training in the community and often provide work skill training. We participate in Special Olympics summer and winter games, bowling, swimming and basketball. The Stepping Stone Program has a staff of fifteen paraprofessionals, dedicated to a person-centered planning philosophy. We believe that people deserve to be a part of the community and have access to learning opportunities as they wish. If you have further questions about the Stepping Stone program, feel free to contact Lynn VanNorman, Program Supervisor at (810) 667-0500. |
