Death Records
This office maintains a record of each death, which occurred in Lapeer County, since the year 1867. These records are public and can be obtained during normal business hours. The first certified copy will be $10.00 and each additional copy of the same record requested at the same time will be $3.00.
You may request copies of death records by mail. Just print and complete the form and enclose the proper payment for the number of copies requested. We will mail the records to you the same day we receive your request.
