| There will be a volunteer on duty to assist with your research. We currently have Lapeer County census microfilm for the years 1840-1930, and Lapeer newspaper microfilm for the years 1879-1959. We have printed materials for Lapeer County, as well as other areas. These materials include family histories and cemetery records. | |||

| NOW AVAILABLE Pioneer Families and History of Lapeer County, Michigan By J. Dee Ellis This hard cover book has been out of print for several years, and is now available from the Lapeer County Genealogical Society. It contains a brief history of Lapeer as well as a brief history of each township within the county. Also in the book are family sketches submitted by family members. The 8 1/2 X 11 book consists of 233 pages plus an every name index. The cost is $40.00 each plus $5.00 each for shipping, handling and a 6% Michigan sales tax.
