PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Extension provides information and offers on-going non-formal educational programs in three areas: 1) Agriculture and Natural Resources, 2) Children, Youth and Families (including 4-H youth and Home Economics) and, 3) Community & Economic Development. These programs areas have similar goals - they seek to help people better understand their environments, make the best possible use of their resources, and enhance the quality of life for themselves, their families and their communities through education and wise decision making. Many different educational methods are used; these methods seek to positively impact knowledge levels, skills, attitudes and behaviors. Volunteers and community partners work with Extension to make these educational programs possible.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:

Extension helps improve lives through an educational process that applies knowledge to critical issues, needs and opportunities.
