Detectives
The
Detective Bureau is an important part of the Sherif's Department.
Road Patrol Deputies do not have the time to follow up on major
incidents due to a heavy complaint load and Detectives are called
upon to conduct follow-up investigations. They process major crime
scenes, investigate arson complaints, process photographs and fingerprints,
and make composite drawings of crime suspects. Our newly formed
Forensic Computer Crime Unit investigates internet and computerer
criminal activity.
