Exploring the Internet with Internet Explorer(IE)
When you are in
IE
you can also browse the
Internet/World Wide Web
. (for the most part, these two terms are interchangeable)
If you have the address for a page you can type it in the
Address
box at the top of the
IE
window.
You can type the address with or without the http:// prefix. (e.g. both the following addresses will work.
http://www.lapeer.org/Index.html
or
www.lapeer.org/Index.html
)
You can navigate forward and backward through the pages that you visited during your session with
IE
by using the
Back
and
Forward
buttons in the upper left corner.
