To Subscribe and Unsubscribe to a List Serve using HotMail on Internet Explorer
A good analogy to a List Serve is to picture a standard office bulletin board.
If you post a message on the bulletin board all members in that office can read and respond to the message.
With a list serve you send your message to a given address and the list serve will automatically distribute that message to all members of the list serve.
You will receive your message back, as you are also a member of the list serve.
To subscribe to the list serve for the Lapeer Internet Project you must send a request.
In the subject field or in the body of your message type the words subscribe LapeerPublishers-l.
Be sure that LapeerPublishers-l is one word and that the capitalization is correct.
You will receive a message back in a few minutes (depending how busy the server is) telling you that you have been added to the list or that there was a problem with your message.
To Unsubscribe follow the instructions above for subscribing but instead of typing subscribe LapeerPublishers-l type unsubscribe LapeerPublishers-l.
Again, you will receive a message shortly after telling you if you were successful.
